Volunteer Opportunities at SJS
Small ways of helping can have a big impact. All volunteers are required to become and remain VIRTUS trained and certified in order to participate directly with our students. It is the responsibility of the volunteer to remain compliant in order to volunteer or participate directly with any child in any classroom setting/grounds.
Cafeteria Volunteer

Help comes in many forms in our school cafeteria. We welcome your support in helping keep our cafeteria and our students safe, clean, and healthy.

Help coach our student-athletes with a strong foundation of faith, mentorship, sportsmanship. Parent coaches are critical to the success of our athletics programs.

Check out and shelve returned books, and help cover new books. During the Book Fair, help students locate books and check out.
New Family Mentor Program
Positive Padres

Welcome new families to St. Joe's and answer questions regarding our school.

A program during morning bus and car drop off from 6:30 – 7:15 AM. Help us greet kids with hi 5’s, fist bumps, dad jokes, and music. Positive Padres is recruiting! Come join the fun and jump start a great day for our kids!
Grandparents' Club

Calling all Grandparents! If you are interested in getting involved at SJS, join us on the first Friday of every month. We start by attending 9:00 all school Mass. Then we head to school to help out, build community, and support our grandchildren.
There are many more opportunities to get involved in SJS.
